  Would have been happier at the Keg or Boston Pizza. We usually enjoyed it, but the menu has been reduced and our favorites are gone. Location is nice and servers are nice, but EXPENSIVE and it has a speciality menu now. We liked the big rig burritos, so now we have to go to Made in Mexico for our favorites. All they have now are fajitas, quessadillas, wings, steaks and tacos. It's really disappointing that the things we went to get were gone. We seriously considered walking out and leaving when we saw what we came for wasn't offered.

  First time eating at Lone Star and the food was great. The waitor was excellent, cheerful, attentive, excellent customer service, knowledgeable. We got there at 5 pm on a Saturday so there was not a big line up. Got seated right away. Definitely will be back to try a different dish. Recommended.

  Host and server we're very nice, and food was fairly prompt, but I've been a long time Lone Star customer (and bartender for a summer) and the food has really changed over the years.
  Portions are much smaller - from the chips and salsa (which now cost $1) to the "boat" of fixings that comes with your fajita - and I find the taste of the in-house made items like the salsa and guacamole have become very inconsistent, and a bit more bland.
  I recommend Lone Star for the atmosphere and homemade tortillas and chips, but it has definitely lost some of its lustre from years previous.

  Went for dinner last night with friends so 4 of us. I ordered the ribeye. It was warm at best and the baked potato was close to cold. Another in our party ordered steak with a side of mushrooms which also came cold. My wife ordered chicken fajitas still looking for the chicken as there may have been 2 pieces among lots of peppers and other stuff. Would not recommend.
  Since I wrote this review I have received two phone calls, followed by a letter of apology. It was also nice to receive a gift card with a promise to do better next time. Lone Star are certainly trying their best to make up for our negative experience. I guess anyone can have an off day, its how they handle it that makes a difference.

  Holy slow! Waited 20min for a water refill and over an hour for my food. I ordered fajitas... pretty much the only thing they make so I have no idea why it took so long. There were 5 other tables open so it wasn't even busy. We had to buy our own candle-less birthday desert... so they apparently don't do anything for special occasions. Food was good but definitely not worth the slow and inattentive service.
